The Woodcutter & The Wish

On the 1/03/2012 I took part in an interview on a community radio station, Southern FM  http://www.southernfm.com.au/ . The program 'Write Now' is hosted by Gaytana Adorna. Julia Reichstein was also in the studio. Here is a 6 minute audio clip of the story 'The woodcutter and the wish'.

I involved the other presenters as I would if it was a live performance. We had lots of fun and talked a lot about story. On the 20th of March it is the celebration of World Storytelling Day http://www.freewebs.com/worldstorytellingday/

This is a casual telling with comments, I hope you enjoy the audio. Matteo

Matteo-Parks Victoria

In 2010 Matteo worked for Parks Victoria presenting a story as part of their Junior Ranger program. (The link to that site http://www.rangerroo.com.au/  ) First he worked with marketing managers and then with a writer to develop a story into a 'tellable tale'.
The story was presented at two festivals in Melbourne. Moomba and the Royal Show. Matteo was dressed as a Park Ranger, which he didn't mind at all (being an absolute fan of our National Parks).
Here are a few photo's taken at Moomba by my dear friend The Mermaid - more details to follow.  Cheers from Matteo

Storytelling Guild Victoria

I'm happy to be featured on the Story Telling Guild of Victoria's new website.

Jackie Kerrin travelled with me to one of the monthly shows at the Mornington Peninsula Art Gallery. She had fun taking a bunch of random photos featuring the art, surrounding the storytelling.
Mornington Gallery is running a Young At Art program for children 0-5 and their young parents and grandparents. Below is a link to the Guild's website.
